Understanding & Responding to Dementia-Related Behavior
May 17 @ 11:30 AM - 1:00 PMFREE
Behavior is a powerful form of communication and is one of the primary ways for people with dementia to communicate their needs and feelings as the ability to use language is lost. Join Autumn Wood and Wood Manor as they host an educational program by the Alzheimer’s Association. Attend this training to learn to decode behavioral messages, identify common behavior triggers, and learn strategies to help intervene with some of the most common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer’s disease.
This training program will take place on Thursday, May 17th from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at the Claremore First United Methodist Church. Refreshments will be provided. Admission is FREE, but space is limited. RSVP by calling (800) 272-3900.
